The Rockford Fosgate M5-1000X1 is a 1000-watt mono amplifier engineered for demanding conditions. Its Element Ready™ design provides robust protection against water, salt, and UV rays, making it suitable for marine or other harsh outdoor applications. The amplifier utilizes Class-BD technology for improved efficiency (over 80%) compared to traditional Class-A/B designs. This amplifier features patented C.L.E.A.N. technology, which includes input and output clip indicators. This system aids in matching the source unit to the amplifier for optimal musical output and simplified setup. It also includes a variable low-pass filter (50 Hz - 250 Hz) and an infrasonic filter (30 Hz) for fine-tuning bass frequencies. Constructed with discrete surface mount technology and 1% tight tolerances, the M5-1000X1 minimizes cross-talk and operates efficiently. Its extruded aluminum heatsink with MEHSA 4 technology helps dissipate heat effectively, prolonging device life. The compact dimensions (1.7" x 4.25" x 8.41") facilitate installation in various locations. It is CTA-2006 compliant, ensuring its power ratings are accurate and realistic.
