Description

The Powermaster 650-087 is a high-output alternator engineered as a 100-amp conversion for Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z vehicles manufactured between 1970 and 1978. Powermaster Performance is known for building reliable starters, alternators, and power solutions for racers, builders, and enthusiasts. This alternator is a direct replacement for the original unit, offering a significant increase in amperage output to power modern accessories or more demanding electrical systems. Installation may require attention to the vehicle's belt system. If the existing belt system is not compatible with the Powermaster alternator, pulleys may need to be changed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
