The Rockford Fosgate T1652-S is a 6.50-inch 2-way component system engineered to deliver superior sound quality. It features 1-inch fabric dome tweeters and is rated for 100 Watts RMS, with a peak power handling of 200 Watts. The kit comes complete with woofers, grilles, tweeters, external audiophile-grade crossovers, and all necessary mounting hardware. Engineered for audiophile performance, the T1652-S utilizes separate components – a high-grade tweeter and a dedicated midrange driver – paired with a 2-way crossover. This design ensures accurate reproduction of music with transparent detail, making it an ideal choice for discerning listeners and car audio competitions. Key features include a FlexFit basket design for mounting versatility, a butyl rubber surround for durability, and 3 levels of tweeter attenuation to fine-tune sound. The system also incorporates 5% tolerance poly-capacitors and air-core inductors in its crossover for precise signal filtering. The OEM adapter plate is included, facilitating easier installation in various vehicle applications. This component system offers a frequency response of 55Hz - 22kHz and a sensitivity of 89dB at 1W/1M, with an impedance of 4-Ohms. The midrange mounting depth is 2.51 inches, and the tweeter mounting depth is 0.50 inches. The crossover network features a 3.0kHz high-pass at 18dB/octave and a 3.0kHz low-pass at 12dB/octave, both utilizing a Butterworth alignment.
