The EVIL ENERGY 102mm Mechanical Throttle Body is engineered for a broad range of Chevy LS engines, specifically compatible with LSX, LS1, LS2, and LS7 applications. Constructed from durable aluminum alloy, this throttle body boasts a 102mm bore designed to significantly enhance airflow into your engine. By optimizing the valve shape, it mitigates low-RPM torque losses, ensuring consistent power delivery. This upgrade offers tangible performance benefits. Compared to a 92mm throttle body, the 102mm unit can increase intake air volume by approximately 15%-20% for naturally aspirated engines, with specific examples showing an 18% increase in a Toyota 3.5L V6. The mechanical throttle body features a rapid response time of approximately 200ms for both acceleration and deceleration, leading to sharper throttle engagement and increased engine flexibility. This component is manufactured and tested to strict OE standards for reliable performance and durability, with a 1-year warranty. The throttle body includes an Idle Air Control (IAC) motor, ensuring proper idle function. However, it does not include a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). Specific IAC motor specifications, such as a leakage rate of less than 15 KPA at -60 KPA pressure and a displacement of 0.0417±0.0158 MM at 12V and 10N load, are provided for technical reference.
