102mm Titanium Intake Tube with 5.0" Velocity Stack and Dry

The Garage Auto Sports GAS-OMEGA-V2 is a 102mm (4-inch) titanium intake tube, engineered for the EA839 2.9T/3.0T platform. Constructed from CP1 grade titanium, this intake boasts superior thermal properties, with a significantly lower heat transfer rate than aluminum, helping to keep intake air temperatures down for improved power production in turbocharged engines. The high strength-to-weight ratio of titanium allows for thinner tubing, resulting in a larger internal diameter and a 5% increase in intake area compared to a 3.5" aluminum intake. This intake system features an integrated 5.0" velocity stack and a GAS 4-layer dry air filter, balancing flow with filtration. The hand TIG-welded, back-purged construction ensures longevity and durability, while the natural beauty of titanium adds a premium aesthetic to the engine bay. The design aims to improve turbocharger spool time, reduce lag, and provide power and torque improvements across the entire powerband. Audible turbo and diverter valve sounds are also enhanced both inside and outside the cabin. Dyno-proven gains of up to +16 whp / +33 wtq have been recorded on a Stage 1 RS5, with up to +46 hp noted on a Stage 3 Pure750 setup. It is crucial to note that this intake is compatible with 3.5" turbo inlets only and will not work with the stock 2.75" inlet. The product includes the 102mm titanium intake tube, a 4"-3.5" silicone reducer, all required hardware, a high-flow cone filter, and a heat shield/air guide.
