The AA Performance VW103T4S71 is a piston and cylinder kit designed for Porsche 914, VW Type 4, Bus, or Sandrail engines.

This kit features 103mm flat-top pistons with a 0-offset and valve pockets suitable for larger lift camshafts. The hypereutectic aluminum alloy pistons have a compression height of 35.50mm and utilize 24mm wrist pins. The kit includes four pistons, four cast iron cylinders, four pins, and a set of rings.

The AA Performance VW103T4S71 is a performance piston and cylinder kit engineered for Porsche 914, VW Type 4, Bus, and Sandrail engines. This kit is designed to significantly increase engine displacement, capable of building 2.3L and larger engines when used with 71mm to 78mm stroke cranks. The kit includes 103mm flat-top pistons made from hypereutectic aluminum alloy, featuring a 0-offset and valve pockets accommodating larger lift camshafts. The accompanying cast iron cylinders are honed in-house to precise tolerances. Each set contains four pistons, four cylinders, four 24mm wrist pins, and a complete set of rings. Installation of this 'big bore' kit requires significant machine work. Both the engine case and cylinder heads will need to be opened to accommodate the larger components. A machine-in kit requires professional installation and modification to achieve the intended performance gains.
