104mm High-Flow Air Lid

The Fast Toys Performance FT104AIRLID is engineered to provide superior airflow for highly modified LS1 engines, addressing the limitations of stock air lids and MAF sensors. Its "Power Bulge" design significantly increases air lid volume and ensures a smooth transition from the air filter to the 100mm MAF sensor. This lid is designed to work with the stock factory lower air filter base and is compatible with TSP or Lingenfelter 100mm MAF sensors, requiring the MAF to be purchased separately. For 2000-2002 models, a K&N breather filter for the smog pump is also required and sold separately. This air lid offers a substantial increase in airflow and volume compared to other aftermarket options. It features a 104mm inner diameter, making it significantly larger than most other air lids on the market, supporting greater horsepower and torque improvements. The Fast Toys lid boasts 14% more volume than popular aftermarket lids and 27% more volume than a stock lid (with baffles removed). It is also an ideal component for speed density (SD) tunes, allowing direct connection to the throttle body for optimal flow. The outer diameter of the lid is 108mm. Installation notes indicate potential fitment issues with specific models. For 1998-2002 Camaro SS models, both factory and aftermarket SS hoods may experience rubbing, which can be mitigated with adhesive tape or velcro. Most 1998-2002 Camaro Z28 models have no issues, though a few have experienced minor rubbing, and in rare cases, the hood may not close. These Z28 instances can be resolved by modifying the lower airbox or hood. 1998-2002 Firebird, WS6, and Firehawk models, as well as aftermarket hoods (excluding Camaro SS), have no reported issues. The lid does not come with a pre-drilled IAT hole; instructions are provided for those needing to re-use the factory IAT sensor.
