The AA Performance VW 104mm Piston & Cylinder Kit is a set of performance pistons and cylinders designed for various air-cooled Volkswagen engines. The Big Bore Cylinders are honed in-house to precise tolerances, and the high-compression pistons feature a 0 offset with valve pockets for larger camshafts.

This kit is compatible with 71mm to 78mm stroke cranks, allowing for the construction of 2.4L and larger engines. It is designed for Porsche 914, VW Type 4, Bus, or Sandrail engine types. The set includes 4 pistons, 4 cylinders, 4 pins, and a set of rings, with cast iron cylinders and hypereutectic aluminum alloy pistons.

The AA Performance VW 104mm Piston & Cylinder Kit offers a significant upgrade for your air-cooled engine, enabling displacement increases to 2.4L and beyond. This kit features 104mm flat-top performance pistons and Big Bore Cylinders that are honed in-house to exact tolerances. The high-compression pistons are designed with a zero offset and include valve pockets, accommodating larger lift camshafts for enhanced performance. The cylinders are constructed from durable cast iron, while the pistons are made from a hypereutectic aluminum alloy, ensuring longevity and performance. The kit is designed to work with crankshaft strokes ranging from 71mm to 78mm. This comprehensive kit includes four pistons, four cylinders, four pins, and a set of rings. It is specifically engineered for Porsche 914, VW Type 4, Bus, and Sandrail engine applications. Please note that this is a machine-in kit, which requires machining of both the cylinder heads and the engine case for proper installation.
