It features 6061 CNC-machined billet end tanks and a custom 27x6x3-inch core to improve airflow and cooling efficiency when boost levels are increased beyond factory specifications.

The MAPerformance intercooler is a direct-replacement upgrade engineered to mitigate rising air intake temperatures that occur when increasing boost levels on the 10th generation Honda Civic 1.5T. By replacing the budget-constrained factory intercooler with this high-efficiency unit, you can maintain optimal performance levels as you modify your forced induction system. Constructed with a custom 27x6x3-inch core and durable 6061 CNC-machined billet end tanks, this unit is designed to support up to 450 whp. It is fully compatible with both the stock piping and the MAP aftermarket hard pipe kit. Each unit includes essential installation hardware such as T-bolt clamps, coupler reducers, and a stainless steel bent tube. Please note that this intercooler is compatible with 2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T, 2017-2021 Honda Civic Sport 1.5T, and 2017-2021 Honda Civic Si 1.5T models. It is not compatible with other Civic generations. During installation, ensure the charge pipe bolt is torqued to the specific factory-recommended 90 in./lb requirement.
