Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) from Axxess (Metra Electronics) are designed to provide full tuning control for aftermarket audio installations while retaining the factory radio and features. They convert fixed-level or digitally controlled analog audio to multiple analog channels for use with aftermarket amplifiers or DSPs. Features often include chime control, retention of OEM voice prompts and sonar sensors, clipping detection and limiting circuits, multiple inputs and individually assignable outputs, independent equalization on each output, selectable slope, graphic or parametric EQ, independent channel delay, and control via a smart device application.
