Del West titanium valves are CNC machined and precision ground, featuring in-house developed thermally sprayed coatings for stem wear protection and a steel tip or thermally sprayed coating for tip protection. Optional thin film coatings like Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC), Titanium Nitride (TiN), and Chromium Nitride (CrN) are available for enhanced wear protection. Del West maintains 100% traceability on all components. The reduced mass of these titanium valves, when combined with matching Del West keepers and spring retainers, enables higher RPM and more aggressive cam profiles, leading to broader torque curves, increased horsepower, and higher power numbers.
