The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2161A is a remanufactured axle assembly built to the highest quality standards for precision and reliability. It features an AAM 11.5-inch ring gear with a 3.73 ratio and is designed without Posi Traction. This axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. All housings are cleaned using state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing to restore an OEM finish, and are inspected for surface wear and cracks, as well as straightened to OEM specifications. A 100% replacement of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims is performed. Internal components, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly inspected and tested. Correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for precise setup and longevity, and proper gear backlash is set for optimal lubrication and quiet operation. The cover is included, but this assembly does not include fluid, hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. It is designed as a full-floating axle type.
