Overview

The PacBrake C40106B PRXB is a supplemental exhaust brake designed for Caterpillar 3126B, 3126E, and C7 engines. It features a patented 90-degree non-contacting butterfly valve and a 4-inch full Marmon turbo flange. This exhaust brake provides 50 percent more braking power at lower RPMs, maintaining optimal retarding performance throughout the entire RPM range.

The PRXB design maximizes exhaust backpressure, delivering constant braking as early as 1200 RPM up to the maximum allowable engine RPM. The unit is controlled by a master ON/OFF switch and helps reduce wear on service brakes, potentially saving money on brake maintenance.
