The Holley 12-802-1 Blue Electric Fuel Pump is a renowned component in the automotive aftermarket, celebrated for its performance and reliability in carbureted gasoline applications. Its legacy dates back to the early 1970s, powering numerous racing and street vehicles. The pump utilizes a time-proven rotor/vane design, known for its affordability and effectiveness. It operates efficiently, drawing only 3 amps of current, and is designed for street/strip performance. The pump delivers a free flow rate of 110 GPH, reducing to 88 GPH at 9 psi, with a maximum pressure capability of 14 psi. It includes an integrated fuel pressure regulator (P/N 12-803) to provide constant, pulsation-free fuel flow and features an externally accessible pressure relief valve. The rotor/vane design offers increased tolerance to contaminated fuels and can be serviced from the pump end. The package includes a mounting bracket and weighs only 3 lbs. Important considerations for installation and compatibility include the recommendation for a relay kit (P/N 12-753) and a 7 1/2 amp fuse. Use of a safety shut-off switch (P/N 12-810) is strongly recommended. Furthermore, it is not compatible with alcohol or methanol fuels and is not intended for use on aircraft.
