Description

It incorporates a stainless steel air box complete with a built-in Billet aluminum Super Velocity stack and rubber trim to ensure proper mounting and insulation from hot air. The Billet mass air meter, measuring an industry-leading 114mm, is bright nickel plated for a durable, lustrous finish. Steeda's testing indicated inlet air temperatures only 5 degrees above ambient. The kit includes a reusable Steeda Lifetime Filter, which can be easily cleaned and re-oiled for long-term performance and reduced maintenance. All required stainless steel hardware is provided for a complete installation. This cold air intake system is specifically designed for the 2007-2009 Shelby GT500 models. *Important Note: Installation of this Steeda Cold Air Intake REQUIRES a computer re-flash (tune) for proper operation on the GT500. A compatible tuning device, such as the SCT X3, is recommended and can be purchased as an option.
