The Monster Clutch Co. This clutch system is designed to manage significant power levels, rated for up to 1150 RWHP/RWTQ, making it suitable for a wide range of modifications including bolt-ons, nitrous, stroker engines, superchargers, and turbochargers. Constructed with a factory GM LT1 based pressure plate, this clutch features modified lift and release capabilities, along with increased plate load, to enhance performance without altering the factory pedal feel. It incorporates a heavy-duty floater plate to prevent warping and ensure reliable release, complemented by custom disc sets with reduced rotational mass for improved high-RPM release and reduced stress on transmission internals. The assembly utilizes a patent-pending CNC machined billet steel flywheel and is balanced to less than 0.100 OZ/IN for smooth operation. It excels on the street, in drag strip conditions with documented 8-second passes, and on road courses/HPDE/autocross events, ensuring reliable performance and the ability to drive home after spirited use. It is important to note that using an aftermarket master cylinder with a larger displacement may increase pedal effort and reduce the engagement window.
