Description

This is a Dexter 12-1/4 inch diameter x 3-3/8 inch width, left-hand, hydraulic, corrosion-resistant, duo-servo, forward self-adjusting backing plate for 8000 lbs axles. It features a dual piston wheel cylinder to apply the brakes, and the self-adjusting mechanism adjusts the brakes on forward stops. Brake adjustment occurs only when lining wear results in enough gap between the shoes and the drum surface.
