Dart Race Series 12.5 degree cylinder heads for small block Chevys are cast from premium 355-T61 aerospace alloy for exceptional durability and integrity. They feature a shallow combustion chamber design, allowing larger valves for better air flow; interlocking ductile iron valve seats compatible with stainless steel or titanium valves; valve centerlines with standard 1.935 in. spacing; and refined intake port design for reduced turbulence and enhanced air/fuel flow. Additional characteristics include: water passages between exhaust ports; drillable integral bosses for fuel injection down nozzles; and 3/4 in. reach spark plugs with gaskets shifted toward bore centerline to enhance flame travel. These units are compatible with most components designed for 18 degree heads.
