The Spal VA01-AP70/LL-36S is a high-performance 12-inch electric radiator fan engineered by SPAL Automotive, a renowned designer and manufacturer of automotive cooling solutions since 1959. This fan is designed for demanding applications and features a push-type airflow direction, delivering a maximum of 1687 CFM to effectively manage engine temperatures. Its robust construction and high-performance motor are built for durability, typically offering up to 10,000 hours of Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). Constructed with a 12-inch (305mm) blade diameter within a 13.02-inch (330.8mm) housing, this fan has a depth of 3.73 inches (94.7mm). The motor is IP68 certified, ensuring it is completely sealed and protected against the ingress of solid and liquid agents, making it suitable for extreme working conditions. The fan operates on a 12V system, with a continuous current draw ranging from 13.9 to 21.0 amps and a power consumption of 166.8 to 252 watts. Mounting options are versatile, with bolt holes and slide-in flanges. While bracket and strap mounts are common, installation using a through-core fan mounting kit is advised against due to the fan's weight. SPAL fans are backed by a 36-month warranty, reflecting their commitment to quality and reliability.
