12-Inch Amplified Bass Enclosure

The PowerBass PS-AWB121 is a single 12" amplified bass enclosure engineered to deliver a powerful low-end to your car audio system. This self-contained unit features a 200-watt RMS amplified bass reflex subwoofer enclosure, built with a unique design approach where the woofer is engineered to fit the box, resulting in deeper, tighter bass that handles more power. At its core is a 12" injection molded polypropylene cone woofer with a 2" BASV voice coil former and a large roll butyl rubber surround. This is driven by a 1-channel, 200-watt high-efficiency Class A/B PWM MOSFET amplifier. For versatile integration, it offers both high-level (speaker) and low-level (RCA) inputs, a soft delay turn on/off circuit, and an auto-turn-on feature when using the high-level input. Fine-tuning your bass is made easy with a variable low-pass electronic crossover ranging from 50Hz to 200Hz, and a variable 12dB bass boost EQ adjustable at 45 Hz. A variable gain control allows you to match the subwoofer's output to your system. The enclosure itself is computer-optimized and finished in a durable aircraft-grade vinyl. Protection circuits are built-in to safeguard against impedance overload, speaker short, thermal overheating, and DC output issues. Mounting hardware and a wired remote gain control are included for convenience.
