The Rockford Fosgate P300-12 is a self-contained, all-in-one amplified subwoofer system designed for easy integration and space-saving bass enhancement. This model features a proprietary 12-inch Punch subwoofer housed in a custom-tuned, sealed enclosure and is powered by a powerful internal 300-watt Class-D amplifier. The "closed-loop" design ensures optimal performance by matching the woofer, amplifier, and enclosure. Constructed from durable 5/8-inch MDF and covered with industrial heat-activated vinyl, this unit is built to withstand the rigors of a vehicle environment. It offers versatile input options, accepting both low-level (RCA) and high-level (speaker-level) signals, making it compatible with both aftermarket and factory audio systems. The system includes an intelligent auto turn-on/off function, thermal and over/under voltage protection, and a detachable power/ground connector for simplified installation. For precise sound tuning, the P300-12 is equipped with an adjustable 12dB/Octave Butterworth low-pass crossover (variable from 50 Hz to 200 Hz), a built-in adjustable bass boost EQ, and a 0°/180° phase switch. A remote bass level control is also included, allowing you to adjust bass response on the fly. The enclosure's dimensions are 15" H x 19.8" W x 11" D1 x 7" D2. It comes with a 1-year warranty.
