The JL Audio ACP112LG-TW1 is an amplified subwoofer system designed for powerful bass in a compact footprint. This MicroSub+ system integrates a proprietary 400W Class D amplifier, featuring JL Audio's exclusive DCD™ technology, which combines direct power conversion with an ultra-high current output section for remarkable power and efficiency. The amplifier is perfectly paired with the specially engineered, ultra-low impedance TW1 12-inch subwoofer driver. The enclosure is a slot-ported, low-profile design finished in black carpet, and it comes with a black steel mesh grille. Key signal processing features include a low-pass filter with a frequency range of 50 Hz to 200 Hz and a 12 dB/octave slope, along with an output polarity switch. For flexible integration, it offers multiple input options and automatic turn-on capability, which can be activated by signal sensing or DC offset sensing. Installation requires an 8 AWG wire gauge for power and ground connections, and the system utilizes a 30A fuse. For enhanced control, an optional RBC-1 remote subwoofer level control is available, allowing for on-the-fly adjustments from the driver's seat. A quick-disconnect power connector facilitates easy removal when additional cargo space is needed. Despite its compact size, the ACP112LG-TW1 is engineered to produce output and extension typically associated with much larger subwoofer systems.
