12-Inch Dual 2-Ohm Subwoofer

The Rockford Fosgate P2D2-12 Punch P2 12-inch subwoofer is engineered to deliver powerful mobile audio. This subwoofer performs best in standard sealed and vented enclosures and includes a diamond cut cast aluminum trim ring, with an optional grille insert available. Key technical specifications include a Dual 2-Ohm voice coil, 400 Watts RMS power handling (800 Watts max), and a 2.25-inch voice coil diameter. The subwoofer also features a StampCast basket with integrated spider venting, custom 10-AWG nickel-plated push terminals, a protective PVC textured magnet cover, and an extended pole piece with a bumped vented backplate. The dual linear spider is embedded with 16 AWG tinsel leads for improved reliability and performance. Constructed with a high-temperature voice coil with a spun-laced Nomex® reinforcement collar and an anodized aluminum voice coil former, this subwoofer is built for superior heat dissipation, ensuring cool operation during high SPL conditions. The FlexFit basket design allows for fine-tuning of the mounting position, and the entire unit is Klippel Verified for optimal performance.
