The DD Audio 712f-D4 subwoofer is part of the robust 700f series, engineered for exceptional power durability, making it suitable for demanding audio applications. This 12-inch subwoofer boasts a 3-inch wire-wound voice coil, proudly made in the USA, and features dual 4-ohm coils for versatile wiring configurations. Its construction includes a sturdy aluminum frame adorned with distinctive DD logos. With a substantial power handling capacity of 1500W RMS and a peak rating of 4500W, the 712f-D4 is built to deliver powerful bass output. Key specifications include a mounting diameter of 288.9 mm and a mounting depth of 228.6 mm. It has a mechanical excursion (X-mech) of 100 mm and a maximum linear excursion (X-max) of +/- 22 mm, contributing to its impressive bass response. The subwoofer's resonant frequency (fs) is 32.13 Hz, with a Qts of 0.4749 and a total volume of 24.23 liters.
