The Rockford Fosgate M1D2-12 Color Optix™ 12-inch subwoofer is engineered for demanding marine environments, offering powerful and accurate bass while enhancing your vessel's ambiance with customizable RGB lighting. Its Element Ready™ design, verified by IP67 certification, ensures resistance to water, salt, and UV rays, making it a durable addition to any boat or motorsport application. The construction includes a UV-stable ASA plastic frame and grille, a vented motor design with a water-repelling mesh screen, and a mineral-filled polypropylene cone for longevity and performance. Installation is simplified through integrated Deutsch™ and Amphenol™ connectors, eliminating guesswork and ensuring a secure connection. The unique VersaSwitch™ allows for easy impedance changes between 1-ohm and 4-ohm configurations with a simple flip, offering flexibility for amplifier matching. For optimal lighting effects, the Color Optix™ feature requires the separate purchase of the Rockford Fosgate Color Optix™ Controller and the RF Connect App. The M1D2-12 is backed by a 2-year warranty. Its specifications include a frequency response of 20 Hz - 750 Hz, a sensitivity of 92 dB (1w/1m), and a mounting depth of 6.65 inches with a cutout diameter of 10.85 inches.
