The Rockford Fosgate M1D4-12 is a 12-inch subwoofer designed for marine environments. It features a Dual Voice Coil configuration and is switchable between 2-Ohm or 8-Ohm impedance. This subwoofer offers a frequency response of 20 Hz to 750 Hz and can handle 300 Watts RMS and 1200 Watts Peak power.

The Rockford Fosgate M1D4-12 Color Optix™ 12-inch subwoofer delivers powerful and clear bass, designed specifically for marine applications. Its Element Ready™ construction ensures durability against water, salt, and UV rays, making it a robust choice for watercraft. The subwoofer features a Dual Voice Coil design and a VERSA impedance switch, allowing easy configuration between 2-Ohm and 8-Ohm for flexible system integration. The injection-molded, mineral-filled polypropylene cone body is enhanced with UV inhibitors for longevity. It also features a vented motor design with a water-repelling nano-coated mesh screen and fully insulated silicone tinsel leads. For enhanced visual appeal, the M1D4-12 includes ultra-bright, wide-angle RGB LEDs, which can be controlled via the Rockford Fosgate Color Optix™ plug-and-play controller (sold separately) and the RF Connect™ App, allowing for a customizable lighting experience. Integrated Deutsch™ and Amphenol™ connectors provide reliable, plug-and-play connectivity for a true marine ecosystem. The speaker is IPX6 water intrusion rated, tested to ASTM B117 salt/fog standards and ASTM G154 accelerated UV testing, ensuring it can withstand harsh conditions.
