The Rockford Fosgate PM212S4 is a 12-inch subwoofer engineered specifically for marine and powersports environments. Its construction includes 100% UV-stable Centrex® injection molded plastic parts and a UV and Salt-Fog resistant TPE surround, ensuring durability against harsh elements. The cone is made from injection-molded, mineral-filled polypropylene with UV inhibitors for added longevity. This Punch M2 series subwoofer boasts a 2.0-inch anodized aluminum voice coil former for superior heat dissipation and a moisture, tear, and fatigue-resistant Aramid fiber spider. The PM212S4 is built to meet or exceed ASTM test standards for marine/outdoor use and is CEA-2031 compliant, handling 300 watts RMS and 600 watts peak power. With a dual 8 AWG compression speaker terminal setup and proprietary corrosion-resistant spring-loaded push terminals, installation is streamlined. The removable trim ring and grille, along with an 18-gauge corrosion-resistant stainless steel grille insert, offer both aesthetic customization and protection. This subwoofer is suitable for sealed (1.0 cu. ft.), vented (1.50 cu. ft.), or infinite baffle installations, offering versatility for various audio setups.
