The Rockford Fosgate P1G-12 is a stamped steel grille insert specifically engineered to protect your 12-inch Rockford Fosgate Punch P1 subwoofers. This grille acts as a barrier against physical damage from items commonly stored in a vehicle's trunk, such as golf clubs, sports equipment, or strollers, safeguarding both the cone and surround from impact. Constructed from durable stamped metal, the P1G-12 is designed for a snug fit into the Gen-3 P1 trim rings. Installation is straightforward: the existing trim ring is removed from the subwoofer, the mesh grille is inserted, and then the trim ring is re-secured to hold the grille in place. This ensures a secure fit and optimal protection. This grille insert is compatible with select Rockford Fosgate 12-inch Punch P1 subwoofers, particularly those designated as Gen-3 P1 models. It is important to note that the original trim ring, which typically comes with the subwoofer, is required to properly mount and secure the P1G-12 grille. The product comes with a 1-year warranty.
