The Rockford Fosgate P3SG-12 is a stamped metal grille insert specifically designed for 12" P3S shallow subwoofers. Its primary function is to safeguard your subwoofer's delicate surround and cone from accidental impacts and damage caused by loose items within your vehicle's trunk, such as sports equipment or other cargo. Constructed from durable stamped metal with a black finish, this grille insert is engineered to fit snugly into the Gen-2 P3S trim rings. Installation is a simple, tool-free process that involves removing the existing trim ring, positioning the grille, and then re-securing the trim ring to hold the grille in place. This ensures a secure fit and effective protection for your Rockford Fosgate subwoofer. While the P3SG-12 is compatible with select models, it is specifically sized to fit Gen-2 P3S woofers and requires the trim ring that was originally included with the subwoofer for proper mounting. This product comes with a 1-year warranty from the manufacturer, providing peace of mind for your investment.
