The AudioControl SPK-V12 is a premium vented subwoofer enclosure engineered to deliver intense bass output with minimal distortion. Its element-resistant design and internal bracing ensure stability and durability, even under heavy use. The enclosure is equipped with a 12-inch subwoofer featuring a fiber matrix paper cone enhanced with mica coating for improved rigidity and responsiveness. Key components contributing to its performance include a high excursion design that allows for greater cone movement, enabling the subwoofer to move more air for higher sound pressure levels. The dual damping system ensures linear bass reproduction, while the dual dust cap system helps manage enclosure compression. A 3-layer high-temperature voice coil former is incorporated to handle significant power and dissipate heat effectively, preventing performance degradation. The SPK-V12 offers a power handling capability of 500W RMS and 750W peak, with a frequency response ranging from 25 Hz to 150 Hz. It has an impedance of 2 ohms and accepts 12 to 8 gauge terminal wire. The enclosure's tuning frequency is 34 Hz, and its F3 frequency is 29 Hz, indicating strong low-end output.
