The Braille ML30C is a 12-volt lithium battery from the MicroLite line, designed to integrate high-power lithium technology with standard alternators and charging systems. This powerful model boasts 1905 pulse cranking amps (PCA) and a 25 Ah storage capacity, which is equivalent to a 75 Ah lead-acid battery. Braille Lithium batteries deliver a higher, cleaner voltage, enhancing the performance of all electrical components. Users can expect quicker starting due to a higher voltage and less drop during cranking. It also provides improved engine management and data logging performance with more stable voltage. This battery offers significant advantages over traditional lead-acid types. Its efficient charging is up to five times faster, and it lasts 3-5 times longer, especially in harsh environments. The ML30C is also significantly lighter, weighing only 9 lbs (up to 1/4 the weight of lead-acid batteries), and features a very low failure rate. Furthermore, the ML30C does not self-discharge, allowing it to sit for over a year disconnected and still retain over 13 volts for starting. It is hand-built in Sarasota, Florida, with potential lead times of 5-7 business days, though rush production may be available.
