The AudioControl EPICSIX is a compact, high-power 6-channel Class D amplifier engineered to deliver 1200 watts RMS of audio output. Its flexible design and robust output make it suitable for a wide array of system configurations, including active 3-way front stage, 5-channel, active 6-channel, or a powerful 2 x 400W bridged setup. This amplifier boasts a high-current, 2-ohm stable design, ensuring reliable performance even under demanding conditions. The integrated Smart Auto-Reset Protection Circuit safeguards the amplifier from potential issues, ensuring continuous operation. For precise audio tuning, the EPICSIX features fully adjustable Linkwitz-Riley crossover filters (12dB/octave), with high-pass filters adjustable from 50 Hz to 5000 Hz on channels 1-6 and low-pass filters adjustable from 50 Hz to 5000 Hz on channels 3-6. Key specifications include 6 x 100W RMS at 4 ohms, 6 x 200W RMS at 2 ohms, and 2 x 400W RMS bridged at 4 ohms. The frequency response is 10 Hz - 22 kHz with a signal-to-noise ratio of -98 dBa (Ref 100 Watts @ 4 ohms). It requires a 4 AWG power and ground wire, with a recommended fuse rating of 125 Amps.
