Powered (12v or 110v) awnings open and close with a push of a button and can come with optional Direct Response Electronics that automatically retract the awning when motion exceeds a predetermined threshold. Awnings are available in widths ranging from 8' to 25' and extension heights commonly at 8', with some reaching 10'. Hardware color options include black, white, or satin. Carefree offers over 100 different fabric colors and various patterns such as Dune Stripes, Shale Fades, or Denim Stripes. Fabric materials include Vinyl, Polyweave Vinyl, Premium Vinyl, and Acrylic. To protect the fabric, Carefree offers three distinct Weatherguards: Uniguard, Alumaguard, and FLXguard. These are designed to protect the RV Awning from the sun and elements while on the road or parked.
