1218 Valve Spring Kit

The PAC Racing 1218 valve spring kit features an ovate beehive design engineered to handle the demands of street performance and occasional track use. These springs are a direct, 100% drop-in solution for all OE LS cylinder heads, allowing the use of original equipment hardware including seats, retainers, and locks. With a maximum valve lift rating of .600", they offer an upgrade in load and frequency capacity for builds utilizing more aggressive camshafts. Technically specified with an installed height of 1.800", an installed load of 130 lbs, and an open load of 318 lbs at 1.200" lift, these springs have a rate of 313 lbs/in. They are constructed using proprietary PACaloy super-clean wire, heat-treated in-house, and subjected to a multi-peen process and Nano-Peen surface treatment to maximize service life and durability under cyclic stress. Compatibility includes a wide range of platforms including GM Gen III/IV LS engines, Ford 2V, 3V, and 4V Mod Motors, Big Block and Small Block Chevy, Chrysler Gen III Hemi, and the Viper SRT-10. These springs are specifically designed for performance applications and require proper valvetrain setup to ensure safe operation within the stated 1.140" coil bind limit.
