The JLT Performance Cold Air Intake is a performance-enhancing upgrade specifically designed for the 2010-2014 Shelby GT500 Mustang. This kit integrates the MAF housing directly into the intake tube, creating a smoother interior for improved airflow compared to traditional designs. It boasts a substantial 123mm MAF housing, the largest available on the market, and is capable of supporting up to 750 RWHP with the stock MAF. The kit includes a large, reusable 5" x 7" S&B Power Stack air filter, which can be cleaned and re-oiled, offering a cost-saving and environmentally friendly alternative to disposable filters. The intake tube is constructed from durable plastic with a black textured finish and includes a redesigned heat shield with a hood seal for optimal performance. Installation is straightforward, requiring only basic hand tools and approximately one hour to complete. **Important Considerations:** * **Tune Required:** Installation of this cold air intake necessitates reprogramming the vehicle's computer (ECU) with an updated tune. A Mustang Handheld Tuner is required and is not included. * **Off-Road Use:** This JLT Performance Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified and is not legal for use in California or states that adopt California emission standards. It is intended for off-road use only on pollution-controlled motor vehicles. * **Fitment:** This intake is exclusively designed for the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 Shelby GT500 Mustangs.
