12mm Spark Plug

The Ford Performance CYFS-12Y-2 is a genuine Ford spark plug, designed for reliable performance and longevity. Built to meet Ford's rigorous standards and quality control testing, this iridium-tipped spark plug features a 12mm thread size and is intended as a direct replacement. It is important to note that four of these spark plugs are required for proper engine operation. This spark plug is compatible with a range of Ford and Lincoln vehicles, primarily those equipped with 2.0L or 2.3L EcoBoost engines. Specific fitments include the Ford Edge (2013-2014), Escape (2013-2019), Explorer (2013-2019), Focus (2013-2018), Fusion (2013-2016), Mustang (2015-2019), and Taurus (2014-2019). It also fits the Lincoln Continental (2017-2019) and MKC (2015-2019), and MKT (2013-2016). Before installation, it is recommended to clean the area around the spark plug holes with compressed air to prevent dirt from entering the engine. For some models, like the Ford Fusion, removing the upper intake manifold may be necessary to access rear cylinder bank spark plugs. Applying a small amount of anti-seize compound to the spark plug threads is advised to prevent seizing and ease future removal. If the gap on the new spark plugs is incorrect, it can be adjusted by carefully bending the curved side electrode.
