The 12T GM Dura Grip Limited Slip is a positraction differential designed to fit 12T GM differentials, offering improved traction for vehicles with 3.73 gear ratios and numerically higher. This unit is specifically built for aftermarket 33 spline axles, ensuring a precise fit for modified setups. Engineered for robust performance, the Dura Grip features Yukon's 4320 chromoly spider gears, known for their exceptional durability. It operates as a limited slip differential (LSD) using composite clutches, providing smooth and reliable power transfer to both wheels. The differential is fully rebuildable and proudly assembled in the USA. For optimal performance and longevity, Yukon recommends using high-grade non-synthetic GL-5 gear oil and their specific LSD additive (Part number OILADD). The use of synthetic oil is not advised as it may lead to aggressive or noisy operation.
