The JL Audio 12TW3-D8 is a 12-inch Thin-Line car subwoofer engineered to deliver deep, powerful bass from compact spaces. Its shallow-mount design requires only 3.5 inches of mounting depth, making it an excellent choice for vehicles with limited installation space, such as trucks. This subwoofer utilizes a durable, mica-filled polypropylene cone paired with a rubber surround for robust, low-distortion bass reproduction. It features a DMA-optimized motor and suspension system to ensure long, linear excursion and tight, articulate sound. The 12TW3-D8 boasts dual 8-ohm voice coils, offering flexible wiring options for single or multi-subwoofer setups. It performs well in both sealed and ported enclosures and is ideally matched with amplifiers delivering 200-400 watts RMS. The subwoofer has a sensitivity of 84.23 dB and a frequency response of 24-200 Hz.
