The VICTRON ENERGY BAT412112081 is an AGM Super Cycle battery that incorporates the latest electrochemical advancements. The positive plates' paste is designed to be less susceptible to softening, even after repeated full discharges. Additionally, new electrolyte additives mitigate sulfation during deep discharge cycles, enhancing the battery's longevity.

This innovative battery offers exceptional performance, enduring at least three hundred 100% Depth of Discharge (DoD) cycles. Tests involved daily discharge to 10.8 V (at I = 0.2C20), followed by a two-hour rest in a discharged state, then recharged at I = 0.2C20. While such a resting period in a discharged state would typically damage most batteries within 100 cycles, the Super Cycle battery demonstrates remarkable resilience. It is recommended for applications where occasional 100% DoD discharges or frequent 60–80% DoD cycles are anticipated.

An added benefit of its advanced chemistry is a slightly smaller size and reduced weight compared to standard deep cycle AGM batteries. Furthermore, it exhibits a lower internal resistance than conventional deep cycle AGM batteries.
