A 12V DC Rapid Charger designed for the McMurdo R2 GMDSS VHF Radio. It is designed to charge the 850mAh Nicad battery (part number 84-211) which is available for day-to-day use of the radio, in addition to the primary Lithium battery required by GMDSS regulations. The charger has an integral bulkhead mounting feature.
