The Power Driven Diesel 12v Street Conical Valve Spring Set serves as a high-performance, drop-in valvetrain upgrade for 12v Cummins engines. By providing significantly improved valve control at engine speeds up to 5,000 RPM, this kit is specifically designed to meet the demands of hot street diesel applications. The set includes a full hardware complement, consisting of 12 conical springs, 12 high-strength chromoly steel retainers, and 24 lock halves. Technically, these springs are calibrated for a 1.950-inch installed height, delivering 175 lbs. of seat pressure and 375 lbs. of open pressure. This configuration is optimized to work with the majority of performance street camshafts currently available on the market. The design strikes a balance between performance and the preservation of long-term cam lobe and lifter/tappet health. Regarding installation and maintenance, these springs are designed as a direct drop-in replacement.
