The true innovation lies in its standard full-floating rotors, which enhance self-centering within the caliper for optimal performance and reduced drag. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, lightness, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons within the calipers further contribute to heat dissipation and reliable operation under demanding conditions. The kit incorporates a floating two-piece rotor design, allowing for precise rotor movement that minimizes brake drag and ensures consistent, powerful braking force. Included are Ksport's NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, optimized for a balance of street performance and light track duty, significantly reducing brake dust and noise while operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. Furthermore, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, eliminating the expansion common in rubber lines under pressure to provide a firmer pedal feel and more immediate response. For enhanced customization and performance tuning, the kit offers a choice between slotted and cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for vehicles primarily used for daily driving as they offer superior cooling, while slotted rotors are better suited for track applications due to their ability to clear dust and gas.
