Building upon the Procomp kit's features, the Supercomp model incorporates larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. This design minimizes brake drag and enhances performance through more consistent pad application. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers offer exceptional lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. Aluminum pistons are utilized for enhanced heat management and reliable operation. Included are SC5 NAOC Ceramic pads, optimized for street driving and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear. The pads operate effectively within a temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. For a firmer pedal feel and quicker response, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, eliminating line expansion under pressure. Customers can select either cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their superior cooling, or slotted rotors, better suited for track-focused applications. The calipers are available in various standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with options for premium high polish finishes including Silver, Gold, Titanium, and Glassy/Hard Anodized colors, as well as over 20,000 custom color finishes.
