13" Monotube Rear Shocks

The Drag Specialties Heavy Duty Premium Ride Height Adjustable Shock is engineered to provide superior durability and comfort, especially for loads exceeding 300 lbs. These shocks feature nitrogen-charged steel monotube damper bodies and hard chrome-plated shafts for robust construction and wear resistance. Adjustability is key with these shocks, offering adjustable spring preload and ride height that can be varied by +/- 1/2" from the listed size, giving you precise control over your motorcycle's performance. They are available in a sleek chrome finish with chrome springs and damper bodies, or a classic black finish with black springs and damper bodies. While they can mount with existing hardware, specific spacers and bushings for 86-03 XL fitments are included. It is important to note that lowering your motorcycle will reduce ground and cornering clearance. Before installing shocks shorter than OEM length, confirm that wheel travel alterations will not cause clearance issues, such as contact with the swingarm, axle, exhaust, chain/belt guard, or tire. Additionally, OEM upper shock mount covers will not fit these shocks; you must purchase appropriate mount kits separately (585804 chrome or 585805 black). Shocks shorter than OEM length will also have reduced travel, potentially affecting ride quality and handling. Included with the shocks are two chrome shock assemblies, two shock spanner wrenches, a packet of grease, and instructions.
