Description

The JE Pistons 377982R is a set of 8 forged pistons designed for Chevrolet small block engines. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, providing the high tensile strength required for demanding performance applications. They feature a dome head type and a -4.50 CC piston volume.

The pistons have a 4.135-inch bore diameter and a 1.062-inch compression height. They are equipped with a 0.927-inch wrist pin made from a 9310 nickel carbon steel alloy. The design includes proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) for minimized friction and weight savings, and may include skirt coating and an accumulator groove for improved performance and durability.
