Description

The Mahle CLC162000S is an engine oil cooler designed to maintain stable oil temperatures and prevent oil breakdown under heavy load conditions. It works by circulating engine oil through heat conductive passages exposed to either airflow or coolant. This cooler helps keep oil temperatures within optimal operating ranges, generally preventing breakdown around 300F and complete breakdown before 500F. The Mahle CLC162000S is constructed from aluminum and features a core volume of 2.5L.
