It features triple alloy steel (8620) construction, machined to match OEM specifications, and heat-treated for durability. It is engineered to withstand added torque and power, with a stronger core than regular OEM gears to prevent premature wear. Reprogramming the truck's computer is recommended after installation due to the gear ratio change. Installation is complicated and specialized tools and mechanical expertise are required.
