This big brake kit is engineered as a direct bolt-on solution for OE rear ends and axles, while maintaining full compatibility with the factory parking brake system. By increasing rotor diameter and caliper piston count, this kit provides significantly improved stopping power and thermal management compared to the factory braking setup.
Installation involves replacing the rear brake components with the Baer hardware. The kit is designed to utilize existing mounting points, though standard brake system bleeding and proper seating of the new pads are required. Factory park brake mechanisms are reused, ensuring no loss of vehicle functionality.
This kit is specifically tailored for the Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT platforms (2018-2026). It is not compatible with earlier Wrangler generations (such as the JK) or other vehicle models. Proper wheel clearance should be verified due to the increased 14-inch rotor diameter.
