Overview

It features 14” x 1.25” vented rotors and high-modulus brake calipers with proprietary composite-resin, semi-metallic pads. This kit is a 100% bolt-on upgrade that does not require cutting, welding, or adapters.

This system is designed for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, and Gladiator JT models with a 5x5” bolt pattern. It is recommended for vehicles with oversized wheels and 33-42” tires, or for heavy-laden overland rigs. The kit includes all necessary hardware for installation.

The TeraFlex Delta Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade to the braking system for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, and JT Gladiator models. It is particularly beneficial for vehicles equipped with larger, heavier wheels and tires (33-42 inches) or those frequently used for heavy-duty overland applications. This is a 100% bolt-on upgrade, eliminating the need for cutting, welding, or adapters, simplifying installation. The calipers utilize a high-modulus bridge design, combining heat-treated 4140 forged steel bridges with T6 6061 forged aluminum piston housings. This construction significantly enhances stiffness, reducing flex for more consistent and reliable brake modulation during both application and release. The calipers feature opposed 4-piston design with 2-inch pistons, EPDM synthetic boots to protect against contaminants, and hard-chrome coating on pistons to reduce friction. The rotors are massive 14” x 1.25” vented units, made from heavy, heat-treated cast iron for superior heat absorption and dissipation. They are mill-balanced and slotted to improve gas dissipation. Key specifications for wheel fitment include a minimum wheel diameter of 17 inches and a minimum backspacing of 4.75 inches or less. It is crucial to verify fitment using the downloadable template provided with the listing. The kit includes front and rear high-modulus brake caliper kits with pads, 14” x 1.25” vented rotors for front and rear, and all necessary hardware.
