1400-Series Hydraulic Release Bearing

The Tilton Engineering 1400-Series hydraulic release bearing is engineered for high-performance clutch applications. It features a 54mm radius-face contact diameter bearing, specifically designed for use with flat-finger clutch diaphragm springs. This unit is intended for use with Tilton ST-215 clutches and is also compatible with many non-Tilton 7.25” and 8.5” clutches. Constructed from lightweight aluminum, the 1400-Series HRB is designed, machined, and assembled at Tilton's headquarters. It utilizes proprietary low-friction surface treatments for enhanced durability and performance. The unique monoseal technology incorporates a multi-edged quad-tension seal to ensure consistent feel, long-term wearability, and reliability, tested for hundreds of thousands of actuations. A resilient orange wiper-seal prevents debris from damaging the HRB bore. This hydraulic release bearing is self-adjusting, compensating for clutch wear to maintain consistent pedal feel over time. The 1400-Series is designed to fit popular racing transmissions that accept the 3-bolt pattern “Saab 9000-type” hydraulic release bearing.
